Clinical Consultation
Wendy Lemke offers individual consultation and consultation groups for clinicians integrating clinical hypnosis and ego state therapy into their work. Case consultation hours are eligible toward certification with American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) and Ego State Therapy North America (ESTNA) as Wendy is an ASCH approved certified consultant and an ESTNA certified trainer and consultant. Separate groups are available for general case consultation and for groups focused on skill development through supervised practice.

Why Clinicians Seek Consultation
Clinical work can be deeply meaningful and at times, complex and isolating. Many experienced therapists seek consultation when they want a thoughtful space to reflect on challenging cases, particularly those involving trauma, dissociation, or ego states. Consultation offers an opportunity to slow down, think together, and deepen clinical clarity when the work feels layered or uncertain.

Others seek consultation to strengthen their integration of hypnosis and ego state therapy, to grow in confidence, or to remain grounded in ethical and intentional practice. For those pursuing certification with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) or Ego State Therapy North America (ESTNA), consultation provides structured hours within a supportive professional community.

At its best, consultation reduces isolation, builds confidence, and sustains the clinician as much as it refines the work.
General Clinical Hypnosis & EST Consultation Groups
This group consists of 3-4 people that meet for an hour once a month. See below for rates/other info. Wendy provides a collegial, clinically grounded safe space for clinicians seeking consultation on their cases and to incorporate more hypnosis and ego state therapy. Case consultation hours count toward ASCH and ESTNA certification if you have required relevant training. *Level 1 Hypnosis required and EST training recommended. These groups provide a supportive environment for you to enhance your knowledge and refine your skills with professional encouraging feedback on your cases. These groups focus on general questions about hypnosis and/or EST as well as case consultation and may or may not include demo/practice opportunities. Typically they are primarily case consultation.

*Please note, due to Wendy's areas of expertise with trauma and dissociative disorders. Often folks seeking consultation seek assistance w/ these cases. These groups are for any/all clinical issues but end up w/ a heavy trauma focus given this is common in clinical work.
(New in 2026!) Designated Clinical Hypnosis Practice Groups
These groups consist of 3-4 people that meet for an hour once a month. See below for rates/other info. Wendy provides collegial, clinically grounded safe space for clinicians seeking supervised practice with hypnosis. This type of consultation will count towards ASCH certification and possibly ESTNA certification if you have the required training. *Level 1 ASCH approved hypnosis training required and Level 2 recommended in order to participate. EST training recommended. Practice consultation groups provide a supportive environment for you to refine your skills with professional encouraging feedback. Wendy will provide brief demos for review and participants will have the opportunity to practice via role play and/or with each other. Please know that if you choose to participate as a subject, you attest to being clinically stable and understand that trance experiences may be a part of this group.

Individual Consultation
Wendy offers individual consultation around the globe. She is located in MN, thus all sessions are scheduled in Central Time Zone.

Common reasons clinicians seek consultation with Wendy:

1. Help with their most challenging cases and because of her areas of expertise in treating trauma and dissociative disorders, especially D.I.D.
​
2. Because they are working towards certification through ASCH in clinical hypnosis and/or in Ego State Therapy through ESTNA. Wendy is an approved ASCH certified consultant and is the co-founder of Ego State Therapy North America, she is an approved ESTNA/ESTI trainer and consultant.

3. Clinicians want to feel more confident in integrating modalities such as hypnosis and/or Ego State Therapy into their practice and Wendy not only has the expertise to help you with your clients, but she's passionate about inspiring and strengthening therapists while emphasizing self-care.

4. Many clinicians are referred to Wendy for consultation given the complexities of their cases, issues with counter=transference and/or for her specialties or they want consultation after hearing her speak or attending a course.

Please reach out to Wendy's assistant: Vicki for more information on individual consultation or to get scheduled with a group: vicki@wendylemke-psy.com. She will send out a contract with all the information you need to know and inform you of which groups have openings. Currently, Wendy has approximately 8-10 groups running regularly. If none of them have openings, Vicki will put you on a waitlist. Please specify whether your interest is in individual, group, or both and which type of group you are interested in.
Rates & Other Info...
The current rate for 3 group sessions w/a minimum of 3 members, maximum of 4 is $240. The groups typically meet once a month for one hour. Wendy requires a committment for 3 sessions due to the challenges of scheduling groups, thus you pay for all three regardless of how many you attend. Most groups continue on a regular basis but occasionally have openings for 1 or two new members. The maximum allowed in one group is 4 members.
