Enhancing Your EST Skills in Hypnotic Language
The art of being hypnotic involves utilizing hypnotic language in creative ways with or without formal trance. This course will focus on enhancing your language skills including utilization, crafting effective suggestions, and timing for a variety of EST therapeutic applications. Through lecture, demonstrations and practice exercises you will improve your ability to communicate with your clients and their ego states. Prior hypnosis training helpful but not required.
Self-care Strategies for You and Your Clients
This section will include focusing on advancing ego state therapy skills to assist you and your client. More specific content will be posted later but this section is likely to include ego state therapy self-care strategies for:

How to work with and utilize self- states to enhance sleep

EST and Dissociative Disorders
Dissociative Disorders often add a complexity that leave therapists feeling like they never know enough. This section will focus on 'being enough' by accessing your own internal resources, discussing common complexities including resistance, avoiding burn-out and providing opportunities for practice with demonstrations with case examples.

Travel Information
Lodging
Accommodations at Alnwick Castle are basically student housing with updated mattresses and pillows; although adventurous, it is not a spa! The rooms do not include a bathrooms, but have access to a community bathroom nearby. The castle is also the home of the Duke and Dutchess of Northumberland, thus there are restricted areas for security and privacy reasons. If you prefer more luxurious housing, click on the local hotels below for more options.
Nearby Airports
The nearest airport is Newcastle but Edinburgh, Scotland is only a few hours away as well if you have better flight options there. Both have train and bus options to Alnwick. Alnwick is approximately six hours from London.
Fees and Other Registration Information

Alnwick Castle Accommodations checking in on June 4th and checking out on June 9th per person for a shared room with two twin beds:
You can request a single room but it will be an additional $45/50 Euros per night and there are only a few single rooms, thus make your request/deposit soon to secure what type of room you want.

If you would like a shared room but do not have someone traveling with you, please contact Wendy via email wendylemkelp@gmail.com to get put on a list of participants who want to share.

*Guests per room cannot exceed bed availability
*All guests receive access to the SCSU WiFi
*& Entrance into the Alnwick Castle tourist areas and the Alnwick Gardens

Make sure if you register for the EST Alnwick Adventure Course, you also secure accommodations for that time frame.
